I. Case Company, in good condition, at no reserve. The 14K gold Keystone case has engraved on front " 1885 " and back " 1913", has some LIGHT scratches, no repairs, front, back, and dust cover are stamped with the matching number "4669762 " , inside back cover and dust cover is stamped " 14K ". The covers fit tight, however the back cover does not snap shut, a TINY cent on outer edge by hinge. The inscription on dust cover reads: " In recognition of faithful and efficient work J. I. CASE THRESHING MACHINE COMPANY CRAWFORD D. CHALFANT and conscientious devotion to the Company's interest ". The Elgin watch dial looks great, no blemishes, no stains, The 17 J Elgin works look great, stamped " 16316079 - G. M. WHEELER - ELGIN, U.S.A, - 17 JEWELS - ADJUSTED ". The watch does not run. the balance wheel appears to be fine - spins freely- when bumped the wheel attempts to keep running -then starts and stops and starts. Second hand moves when running. This pocket was stored for a long time and might only need cleaned. The Elgin pocket watch measures 1 7/8" on outside diameter, works are about 1 5/8" in diameter. This is one of 25 pocket watches purchased from a local estate. Most of the pocket watches are in working condition. This is out of my area of expertise. Please email with questions.
