The hunter case is in 18K solid rose gold (weighs 41.5 grams without the movement) and has the markings for 18K Gold the letters P&D, the stamp from the essay's office and the serial number 2352378 which puts its manufacturing date around 1910. The movement is signed Longines and sports the winged hourglass logo for Longines (this is the oldest registered logo for a watch company :-). The regulator is stamped with the numbers 10831. The case is 52.25 mm in diameter (a tad short of 2 1/8") and it is 14 mm thick (just about 9/16"). The outside has a beautiful scrolling motif and is engraved with the initials JS. The original white enamel dial has the sunken second hand and sports black roman numbers; it appears to be in pristine condition and is signed Longines. The dust cover also signed Longines reads "4 Grand Prix" and the name of the cities Paris - Paris - Milan - Bruxeles. The covers close very nicely and tight and stay closed. It has a couple of very, very hard to notice pin size dings. I am not a watch expert or collector by any means but this watch looks excellent. Great collectors piece, do not miss out!! MORE ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE PIECES IN MY STORE:   "LENAIN JEWELRY" Please read the item description, look at the pictures and if you have any doubts please ASK BEFORE BUYING OR BIDDING. Most of our estate, vintage, and antique jewelry items have been previously treasured but very well cared for. Gentle wear may be present on some pieces however they are still in excellent condition. Any mentionable flaws or imperfections are clearly disclosed in our listing description. Pictures of jewelry with precious stones are very difficult to obtain, when these pictures are displayed in a monitor the result is diamonds show dark spots when the fact is there are none. Please check the detailed information provided in the listing where we clearly state the classification of the stones as graded by a professional gemologist. Metals are very reflective, dark spots you might see in the precious metals are reflections of the camera captured by the lens due to lighting conditions. It is a generally accepted practice in the jewelry business to inspect and grade pieces under a 10X magnification glass.  Since we use a very high definition digital camera most of our photos are enlarged in a way as if they were under a 100X magnification glass.  Be aware that things you may see in the pictures cannot definitely be seen with the naked eye, 10X or sometimes even under a 30x magnification glass. Occasionally some images might make an item appear to be imperfect when it actually is faultless. We only sell best quality pieces and avoid any piece with potential problems Please visit my store  "LeNain Jewelry"  for more antique and vintage pieces or Click on any cell to see an specific category Solitaires Lockets & Religious Pendants Cufflinks Anniversary & Eternity Rings Bracelets & Charms Pocket Watches / FOB Watches Edwardian & Victorian Rings Brooches and Pins Sterling Jewelry Art Nouveau Rings Necklaces Chains Pendants Wristwatches For Him Art Deco Rings Earrings Wristwatches For Her Retro Rings Rings For Him Other Items   Shipping Information: Rates: Free Shipping including insurance within USA only (includes leatherette case or velvet pouch ready to be presented as a gift) International shipping: Rates depend on destination country.
