Ryerson grade movement with 7 jewels. The movement looks nice and does run. Note there are some scratches around the area of the barrel arbor. Dial is original porcelain and excellent, and matching fancy hour and minute hands are also excellent. Case is nickel silver and although quite old, is not quite as old as the movement. Crystal is excellent unbreakable replacement. Nice early Elgin dating to about 1873. That is 125 years ago! Serial 295747.
