The ring is of abstract branch motif with a rounded shank measuring from 2.7mm to 20.8mm in width and terminates in a prong and partial bezel-set star sapphire, flanked by prong-set diamonds. The ring mounting is brightly polished with scored accents and weighs 7.5 grams. The ring contains one oval cabochon cut star sapphire corundum measuring approximately 11.1mm in length x 8.9mm in width x 6.90mm in depth. The sapphire is semi-transparent, medium-light violet blue of slightly grayish saturation displaying an off-centered, complete six-rayed asterism of good distinction. The symmetry is good. The polish is good. The ring contains one Old European cut diamond measuring 4.87mm in diameter x 3.2mm in depth and weighing an estimated 0.50 carats. The clarity grade is SI-1.
