The front of the case has a small open shield that awaits your engraved initials, and the sides are coin-edged. Overall, the case is in excellent condition with the only wear being some very light rubbing on the engraved details. There is a light machine-turned repeating diamond pattern in the background. There is a protective dust cover inside the case, which is polished and smooth with only very light surface scratches in some places. He measures apx. 50 mm not including the smoothly winding stem or flexible pendant bow. This stunning stem-set Elgin will be a prized addition to your collection! Inside the fancy hunter’s case you will see that the original white porcelain Elgin-signed dial is in excellent condition! I can find only on hairline at 7 o’clock. The long blued steel hands accurately display the passing time to crisp black roman numerals, and to the line markers in the outer chapter. Each 5-minute increment is shown in crimson red. The sunken auxiliary dial sports a ball-tipped hand, showing the precise seconds to its own black markers. This is a classic dial with timeless features! Inside the case you will that ¾ plate Eglin signed movement is running strong! The plates are covered with fancy damasking, and bear the serial #10616028, placing the year production at either 1903 or 1904. This 15 Jewel beauty sports a Compensating Balance and Screw-In Jewel Settings for added precision. Each of the 15 Jewels act as tiny bearings to ensures the accuracy and precision of this incredible movement! He keeps fine time and is ready to proudly display in your high grade collection.
