Those of you who know about Pocket watches will know the pedigree of John Forrest, “Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty”.   This is a really nice example. The silver case has elaborate decoration and a vacant cartouche. The rear of the case also has an inlaid gold section.  It measures a large 57mm in diameter. The case is hallmarked Birmingham Silver, the date letter looks like 1913, maker WK.   The mechanism has all the markings you would expect and its quality matches that of the case. The serial number is 779755      Condition   The pocket watch is generally in excellent condition. It runs well and keeps good time.
