This extraordinary natural emerald is a striking 6.90 carats, cut in a cut-cornered emerald cut. The color is just gorgeous; it is rated "very light moderate strong green; GIA 2/4". It measures 11.55 x 11.03 x 7.80mm; clarity is Type III. As is very common in emeralds, there are inclusions visible to the naked eye, including some veiling, but these really do not detract from the beauty of the gem and in fact add some interest (see photos). The emerald is flanked by six round brilliant-cut diamonds (three on each side) with average I-K color and I2 average clarity. They total approx. 0.42ct in weight.
