The watch folds up inside the case and opens and closes just as well as it did when new!I wound the watch and it runs great and keeps excellent time. Rights beside the stem is the word "Carre" and the number "E1635".The movement is marked, "Gruen Guild, 17 Jewels, Switzerland, Serial No., 212550".Inside of the rear cover it is marked, "Gruen Wadsworth, USA, Pat Applied for - 315-107. The dial and crystal are in excellent condition with gold numbers and hands. The red and gold fold in case is also in excellent condition.The case measures 1.25" across when in the closed position and 2.38" across when opened.This is a stem wind and stem set movement.
